Andy's Austin Mesh Nodes
Hi there!
You probably stumbled upon this site because you saw one of my Meshtastic nodes!
My name is Andy and I am working on some Austin Mesh Meshtastic nodes. Check out https://austinmesh.org and join the Discord server at https://discord.gg/phD7NTSYQb if you haven't already. I am andyshinn
on the discord server. Come say hi!
My nodes will start with the EGR prefix and they currently are:
- EGRN (A172B9AD) - egrme.sh Nano
- A Nano G2 Ultra from Unit Engineering. Trying out on my desk to see how it performs compared to the Station G2. See https://wiki.uniteng.com/en/meshtastic/nano-g2-ultra for more info.
- EGRP (2047B3D5) - egrme.sh Palm
- A RAK19003 with RAK4631 and GPS. A nice and small node that I carry with me. Was using a 3D printed TonyG mini case. Now using the Alley Chat MeshPack case.
- EGRH (D8318FFA) - egrme.sh Home
- A RAK19007 with RAK4631 and GPS. Using the Unify 150x100x45 solar panel enclosure and a Adafruit 6600mAh battery pack. It is mounted on my roof and connected to a RAK 5dBi omni antenna.
- EGRG (934CCC74) - egrme.sh Gateway
- A RAK19003 with RAK11200. Sitting on my desk acting as a MQTT gateway.
- Retired EGRF (C67FF44C) - egrme.sh FrankenFeather
- This node is build around the Adafruit Feather boards. It is the RFM95, ESP32, and GPS FeatherWings on a tripler board. Thanks to a user in the Discord server I now refer to this as the FrankenFeather!
- Retired EGRB (7A4CC060) - egrme.sh Base Micro
- This is a base station I am working on getting onto my roof. Hardware in testing is currently a SparkFun Micromod with ESP32 and EBYTE LoRa radio module.
